This is the first food truck I've ever eaten from or bought anything from but it came highly recommended. I have lived on my street since 2005. I am so satisfied with the quality of the food and the service and the fact that the owner is always there. I don't speak Spanish but he can explain anything if the ones preparing it don't understand. Due to my medical issues I can't always eat some of what normally comes with the items, like lettuce. They always fix it up and try to accommodate the way I have to eat. They are all so nice and I hope they are around for many years to come. Prices are good also. I don't know about the items with beef as I don't indulge in red meat anymore. Quantity and taste and service are fantastic ‼

Been going here for years! Very kind people and the best tacos in town imo. I like the fancy hipster joints on the fancy side of town too with their pickled something or other toppings and criminal pricing. But, these are made with love and the quality and taste is arguably better than those fancy spots charging twice as much.

My family stops here for food on a weekly basis. Very friendly employees and the food is absolutely delicious!! You definitely get your money's worth here. A great local business to support.

These are honestly the best tacos in the city! We've been going here for about two years and I love it every time. The asada is juicy and tender and they cook the onions instead of giving them raw which is honestly the way to go. They have a yummy soda selection but we also go with the apple soda. And then the green sauce... boy they just have amazing spice and add richness to any item. You will regret not trying them at least once in your lifetime

I had tacos and they were good. A tad oily but price for that taste is well worth the visit. The sauce was well made.

Awesome tamales! Solid tacos. This truck has been around in the same spot for years, and for good reason.

The tacos are the bomb! It's the only place in town that we've had tacos with grilled onions in them and it totally elevates it!! I wouldn't recommend the burrito though. Or maybe it was our choice of burrito because the al pastor tasted like crushed pineapple in hot sauce. Stick to the tacos and you can't go wrong!

The line was five or six people deep around 9pm on a Saturday night. Parking lot nearby was packed with cars steadily rolling in. Side tables, of which there are three or four, were also full. I was hungry and excited to try the local taco truck that seems very popular and definitely smells delicious whenever I drive by. I decided on a carne asada burrito with added avocado and a carnitas gordita, with red sauce on the side. It was about a 20 minute wait and then I got my bag of goodies to go. The portions are generous for what it is: taco truck food. You can fill up for around $10. I'm just glad I got the red sauce, which is very spicy (to me). For most spicy food lovers, it might not be. Overall, the food was fine but bland without the sauce. It needed salt and...honestly, sabor. It kind of feels like it's been blanded down for the local palate. Seems like people love it but I'd like a bit more spice, not necessarily heat, just something more to make my mouth happy I guess.

This place is so close to my house that I don't know how I haven't eaten here before! Las Gorditas is bringing authentic, delicious Mexican food to Louisville, and as a California native (and a member of a large, Mexican family) I am loving it! My friend and I stopped by for dinner one night last week and thankfully, the weather was nice. She ordered a beef burrito and a bottled coke and I ordered a chicken taco with lettuce, sour cream, tomato, and avocado, an el pastor taco, a taco de lengua (cow tongue!), elote en vaso (corn in a cup with sour cream, mayo, parmesan cheese, and chile), and a big ol' cup of horchata! For those of you who haven't tried horchata, it is a milky beverage usually made from rice, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Sometimes the ingredients vary a little. Just a tip though- it is great with spicy foods! The food was AMAZING. It was hot, fresh, and made with love! I think my favorite was the el pastor taco- and the elote en vaso, of course (I am a corn addict). The pork was juicy and tender and the pineapple complimented it perfectly. The elote en vaso had just the right amount of everything in it. Make sure you remember to stir it all together! Oh, and try the red sauce with your food, too! SOOO SPICY! The only thing that sucks here is that it is a food truck so there isn't much seating, but what little seating they do have (two tables that can seat about 4 people) is covered by an awning. One other thing that sorta sucks is their hours are limited- make sure you check that they are open before you go because I believe they are only open two days a week! Anyway, I highly recommend Last Gorditas- this was my first time but it will certainly not be my last. I'll be back to try the tamales!

The tacos here are legit. Actually, the gorditas and tortas are better. I'm a recovering addict of Baja street food, and while this isn't exactly Baja estilo, at the very least, it's methadone for this junkie. I'm tempted to climb through the ordering window to hug the people inside, but I fear that they might not feed me after that. I haven't tried everything, but I keep going back to the asada. Cheese or cream goes on a lot of their menu items. Nothing has struck me as extraordinary, but all of it tastes Spanish-speaking. Muy delicioso. I don't know exactly when they show up, but I think they set up shop mid-afternoon. Their sign tells me they are open til 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and for the summer they are showing up on Thursdays as well as Sundays. If you want this stuff Monday through Wednesday, you better get it to go.
